Review : INGREDIOX Gel Cleanser - Acne Reduction and Oil Control Formula with Over 19 Active Ingredients!
Hello everyone! It's been a few months since my last skincare review because I hadn't found any standout products worth recommending. But now I'm ready! I've been secretly trying out a new gel cleanser and I liked it so much that I have to share it with you all.
The gel cleanser I'll be reviewing is from the brand INGREDIOX. It's a Thai dermocosmetic brand that emphasizes gentleness. As the brand name suggests, it comes from the word "Ingredient." INGREDIOX focuses on incorporating a variety of valuable active ingredients from around the world into their products. Their concept is very interesting!
Currently, the brand has launched their first product line, which includes two types of cleansers: AVALANGE, a gel cream formula for acne-prone, oily skin with enlarged pores and sensitive skin, and PURIFIQUE, a foam formula suitable for all skin types that effectively removes makeup, sunscreen, and pollutants.
The formula I tried is AVALANGE.
AVALANGE Acne and Oil Control Moisturizing Cleanser - Suitable for those with acne-prone, oily skin with enlarged pores, and sensitive skin.
AVALANGE Gel Cleanser is formulated to manage acne, control oil throughout the day, and increase moisture while strengthening the skin barrier. Its highlight is that it does not irritate the skin and contains over 19 extracts!
The packaging comes in a 100 ML squeeze tube. The brand emphasizes eco-friendly packaging, using recycled materials that are kind to the environment.
More than 19 Active Ingredients in AVALANGE Gel Cleanser can be categorized as follows: 5 ingredients for acne and oil control / 8 ingredients for moisturizing / 6 ingredients for soothing and anti-inflammatory effects
These extracts help balance the skin, reduce inflammation, control oil, and most importantly, provide hydration. Some familiar ingredients include Ceramide, Vitamin E, and Honey Extract, among many others. Powerful acne-fighting ingredients that control oil and acne include Swiss wild honey, Salicylic acid, Zinc PCA, and Niacinamide. Therefore, this product is suitable for those with acne and oily skin.
The brand emphasizes that these extracts are free from irritants and contain ingredients that enhance each other's effectiveness. For example, Butylene Glycol helps enhance the penetration of extracts like Niacinamide and Ceramide into the skin.
Additionally, for cleansing agents, the brand chooses all-natural extracts to ensure gentleness and safety, such as coconut extract, coconut oil, glucose from corn, and olive oil. Importantly, it has been tested to be irritation-free, making AVALANGE suitable for use from early teens to adults.
Just the part about the extracts is very extensive, but I really want to share that they have included a lot of beneficial extracts, more than many other brands in the market. Now, let's move on to the next part: the actual usage experience.
Before washing the face
The brand recommends that their product is suitable for the 60-second face washing method to help increase the effectiveness of the extracts.
How to implement the 60-second face washing method?
- Slightly wet your skin.
- Squeeze the gel onto your palm, mix with water, and rub until it forms a thick, soft foam.
- Massage your skin in circular motions for at least 60 seconds.
- Rinse off with clean water.
- Pat your face dry (when having acne, I use facial tissues instead of a towel for maximum hygiene).
Feeling after use: AVALANGE Gel Cleanser has a gel-cream texture with a mild, dermocosmetic-like fragrance. The fragrance used is allergen-free and does not cause irritation.
This product creates soft, fine, and abundant foam, which is great for those who like using gel cleansers but still want a lot of foam. I love that you can massage your face for a long time, making it enjoyable and very relaxing.
Importantly, its a gel cleanser that rinses off easily and doesnt leave a slippery residue. After washing, my skin feels clean. When I pat my face dry, my skin remains soft and moisturized. It doesnt feel slippery or tight but leaves a good amount of moisture on the skin.
Summary of what I like:
- Cleanses the skin thoroughly and provides good moisture.
- The product contains many beneficial extracts for the skin, especially those that reduce acne inflammation. I initially had a pimple that was about to pop up, but after using it, I woke up to find it had actually shrunk.
- Emphasizes gentleness on the skin and is non-irritating. People with sensitive skin will probably like this product as much as I do.
AVALANGE is another gel cleanser that I really like. Currently, INGREDIOX is only available online. I secretly hope it will be available in beauty stores soon so it will be easier to purchase. ><
